Instead of answering multiple choice questions, students will more often need to formulate answers by themselves, either as a short text or even a longer literature review, e.g. “The effect of global warming on ecosystems”.
At a later stage in the course of study, student examination will mainly be based on short individual research projects and their reports or presentations.
These sample questions are supposed to provide an impression of the complexity of a single topic, such Resources and Sustainability, in the area of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences. Note, the range of sample questions only illustrates a small part of the topic’s complexity, and the sustainable use of resources itself only represents one of the topics covered.
However, the example nicely demonstrates the interplay between the Environmental Sciences, Governance and the use of Resources for Energy production all with a focus on Sustainability.
