Selection procedure

Have you cleared the first hurdle – the written application? This is when many foundations and funding organizations invite applicants to take part in a selection interview, which can be complex. For example, this interview can consist of a presentation, the moderation of a discussion or interviews with individuals or entire selection committees.

However, it is not always that complicated. For some, a simple one-to-one interview will suffice or, as in the case of the Deutschlandstipendium at the University of Freiburg, none of this is required.
